The Wholistic Massage Therapy Training Program provides a unique combination of classroom, clinical, and experiential learning opportunities. Students learn bodywork theory and application while incorporating Wholistic Health principles into their lives and their massage practices. The ability to be an effective Wholistic Massage Therapist depends on several factors, including:
- an integrated understanding of wholistic health; human anatomy, physiology, pathology, and kinesiology; massage theory and application; and business principles and ethics
- an awareness that health is a state of mental, physical, spiritual, and emotional balance
- a willingness to pursue personal growth
- an understanding that we can give loving, healing energy to others only to the extent that we love and embrace ourselves
- the knowledge that we are the creators of our lives and the makers of our destinies
- the belief that we have been empowered with all we need to be happy, healthy, and fulfilled
Seventy hours of "Integrated Bodywork" provide classes that enhance each student's awareness of the impact of their energy on clients. Wholistic Massage reaches far beyond the basic theory and skills; it is about healing ourselves and then freely transferring that loving energy to our clients.
